3DMAX won ESWC 2014's female CS:GO tournament following a 2-0 victory over Team Karma (16-7 on de_cobblestone and 16-11 on de_nuke). With Bad Monkey Gaming out of the way following a 1-2 defeat against 3DMAX in the semi-final stage, the 2014 title was contested between the French side and Team Karma, led by veteran Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo. The first map of the tie was de_cobblestone, where 3DMAX got to start on the Terrorist side. Despite being on the less-favoured side, the French team were able to take a 9-6 lead into the second half, in which they conceded just one round. de_nuke then followed, and this time around 3DMAX started out as CT. A solid display from Alexia "aLx-" Mengus's team on the defensive side of the map earned them a 13-2 lead at the break, and even though Team Karma gave a good response during the second half, the North Americans could not prevent the home team from walking away with a 16-11 victory.
